Oh! How I Hate to Get Up in the Morning, a song by Irving Berlin produced on U.S. Army time for the Army benefit show, Yip Yip Yaphank (1918). I believe the version used in the show used the opening verse from the Irving Kaufman recording; the opening verse here was probably made for publication. This is Edison Blue Amberol #3639, which was created using Edison Diamond Disc matrix #6287.

This is a combination i put together for a nuclear holocaust themed sleep video i did that mostly features the sound of a geiger counter, radio static, and wind. I tried to pull sounds together that gave a real post-apocalyptic ambience.

This was a happy accient. I was charging a drone battery though an adapter with overvoltage protection, which started beeping and increasing in frequency as the battery got close to full charge. There is a good bit of sound at the end, when i pulled off the battery and the capacitors in the charger discharged. :). Have fun with it! if you want, let me know what you did with it. Cheers!. Recorded on zoom f1 with xyh-5.

Piano Roll recording of Scott Joplin playing "Maple Leaf Rag" in 1916. Midi conversion by PlayerRoll, and found at: http://www.pianola.co.nz. Re-recorded as audio by Major Bloodnok using Cubase. The original Piano Roll had been scanned and converted to a MIDI file by PlayerRoll, but the work remains in the public domain. This is one of a number of rare recordings by Joplin. It also demonstrates the deterioration of his health, specifically its impact on his piano playing. Original UniRecord, 1916. Maple Leaf Rag published 1899. Here's a old geiger counter with the tube held by a radioactive test sample, probably / hopefully fairly well decayed. Audio is recorded by hanging the headphones on a blue bluebird condenser, as the headphone connector is an unusual 1/2 inch threaded thing. The serial number of this unit is 71605.

The Canadian national anthem, "O Canada", played by the United States Navy Band in the early 2000s. The song was originally commissioned by Lieutenant Governor of Quebec Théodore Robitaille for the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day ceremony, 1880. The music was written by Calixa Lavallée as a setting of a French Canadian patriotic poem composed by Sir Adolphe-Basile Routhier. The lyrics were translated to English in 1906, Robert Stanley Weir wrote another English version in 1908, which were revised thrice before taking their current form in 2018. Was converted to Ogg format using Audacity (Originally uploaded on en.wikipedia).
